Just a quick post to let you know that I started another blog to separate out my party styling posts. I’ve had a really hectic couple of weeks. As most of you know, I’m nearing the end of my schooling (I’ll have my Master’s degree in April) and I’m currently networking and contemplating some projects to see if I can get something worked out so I can start working after graduation. Plus in December I take my 3rd year end exams which are 2 days of rigorous testing to prepare me for the board exams I will have to take for my license.
That being said, I have to delve into my hobbies to keep my sanity, LOL, and as you know dolls are my #1 hobby, so that’s not going anywhere! And I am in talks with a few other people about possibly doing a monthly online doll magazine. We’ve all felt the loss of our beloved Haute Doll and I think this could be a great new venture. So I will keep you updated on this as well!
But as you’ve read here lately, another hobby I have is party planning, cooking & baking. It seems that I’m being talked into more and more party planning even when I’m not going to be the host. Just recently I’ve gotten an “in” to possibly get into food photography. This is a new area for me, but with my macro lens I think I’m going to have fun with it. This photography along with party planning could possibly be worked out so that I can make some extra cash. Which will be nice since I won’t have anymore financial aid coming in after April and it takes several months to obtain my license and a little while to build an acupuncture practice.
So, I need to keep this entertaining and food photography aspect a separate entity with a separate blog to be able to pass out information to potential clients. I will have a link to that blog down on the right side here and I hope many of my readers here will get some inspiration from my new site as well. http://entertaininstyle.wordpress.com/
