Wow! This ensemble is super-fabulous!!! Dressmaker Details puts the same wonderful craftsmanship into this Gene outfit as they do into the Fashion Royalty ones! I am truly blown away!
“MOONLIT MOMENTS” REVIEW: The dress is a truly scrumptious silk charmeuse fabric that photographs wonderfully! Silver lace trim at the bottom (my only gripe is that it’s not hemmed and therefore I’ll be forever snipping threads) Silver sequins cover the entire bodice from the empire waist up. There is a small row of silver beads just under the bustline in front that is a nice added touch. There is a tulle underskirt and stretch satin gloves.
Also included is a silk shantung trapeze coat that cinches at the waist with a beautiful diamond circle buckle. The coat stays “full” in the back because the belt is hidden within the coat, therefore only cinching the waist in the front. There are 2 diamond stick pins to attach to each lapel. Accessories include a white satin clutch with diamond closure, a tennis bracelet, and diamond ball drop earrings and matching bracelet. To complete the outfit are silver sequined shoes.
“POOL POSE” MADRA REVIEW: (I purchased her from a convention goer, so I received her nude and can’t tell you anything about her original outfit.) She’s got lovely coloring! A soft pink blushing on the cheeks gives her such a youthful appearance. She has just a hint of soft pink eyeshadow, but not overpowering in anyway, and a nice brighter pink lipstick. Her eyes are more like a hazel green, not emerald green like other Madras. Her hair is a nice medium toned brown/auburn in an updo (see last photo below for closeup of her hair)
