Gene Marshall Line’s NEW CHARACTER!

That’s right!  Her prototype was revealed at the WClub luncheon at the Gene convention, and I posted the little information that I had, but now I’ve got more concrete information for you!

“AZALEA ICE” ZITA LOUISE CHARLES, is debuting in the year 1954 at her “mature” age.  She made it big during the Jazz Age in silent films and was a favorite of the gossip columns because of her reputation as a party girl.  She has since married well, retired and is now a major player in the Hollywood society scene.  (So rumors are that she’ll also be available later in her “younger” flapper days)  She has strawberry blond hair with a silver streak, violet eyes, squarish-shaped face, and cupid’s bow/pursed lips.  She comes wearing a silver, one-shoulder straight gown with 3-tone pink azalea striping.

She will be an FAO Schwarz exclusive doll, available in their online store on or around October 15 (date subject to change).  She is the 2nd in the “24K Collection” line, of which “Jeweled Cat” Madra was the 1st.

Full length and close-up pictures will be posted on the Gene Marshall website soon.  (Hopefully this week!!)  So keep checking Gene’s website here. Or you can keep checking back with my blog and I’ll let you know when those pictures are up for everyone to see! Can’t wait!!
